Race Information:

When: Friday, June 8, 2o12Where: Texas Motor SpeedwayLaps: 167Distance: 250.5 MilesWhile the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series takes to the tricky triangle of Pocono Raceway and the NASCAR Nationwide Series has the weekend, it s time for the Camping World Truck Series to share the stage with the IZOD IndyCar Series at the Texas Motor Speedway.

Texas Motor Speedway is a 1.5 mile oval track with 24 degrees of banking in the turns and is known for some great side by side racing. With a tight points battle with six races into the season vs. Justin Lofton and Timothy Peters, we could have a new points leader at the race.

This race last year was intense and expect this year to be the same. Ron Hornaday captured the win after Johnny Sauter, who was the race leader, was black flagged for changing lanes on the restart. Sauter, who passed Hornaday for the lead through Turn 4, was penalized for moving from the outside lane to in front of Hornaday before crossing the start/finish line during the green-white-checkered restart on Lap 167.

There are three drivers, Todd Bodine, Brendan Gaughan, and Ron Hornaday, Jr. would are the best at Texas Motor Speedway. Combined they have won 13 of the last 20 races held at TMS.

My pick for the race weekend at TMS is definitely going to be Ron Hornaday, Jr. Who is yours?
