SOL Expands Gothenburg–Zeebrugge Capacity
Cargo shipping firm Swedish Orient Line has expanded capacity on its services between Sweden and Belgium with the introduction of a new roll-on, roll-off vessel on the Gothenburg to Zeebrugge route. The Ark Forwarder started operating on the route this week taking the total number of sailings per week to seven. The vessel has a capacity of 2.700 lane meters and will be utilized to carry rolling cargo, trailers, containers and SECUs.
“All sailings will be calling PSA Wielingendok in Zeebrugge and Gothenburg RoRo Terminal in Gothenburg,” a spokesperson for SOL said. SOL provides project cargo and breakbulk services from headquarters in Gothenburg and operates a diverse fleet throughout the Baltic. The firm also delivers management, line and agency services.
