Scandinavian Express Transports Steel Footbridge
Logistics firm Scandinavian Express has delivered an oversized steel footbridge from Poland to Sweden. The unit measured 36 meters long and 5 meters wide, and was collected from Bia?ystok in northeastern Poland. A team from Scandinavian Express then oversaw the transportation by road to the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute in Link?ping.
“The footbridge is a component of the bus terminal infrastructure in Sweden and so a bus crash-test is planned amongst others. The research results will be crucial for further stages of investment and will contribute to the increased safety of road infrastructure and transport development,” said Michal Trojanowski, sales and marketing director at Scandinavian Express. The firm is a member of breakbulk association the Project Cargo Network, which connects ISO 9001 and 14001 certified project cargo and heavy-lift specialists worldwide.
Cypriot cargo firm Oceanic Logistics recently joined PCN via its office in Limassol.
