Essex truck deaths: High Court approves surrender of Eamon Harrison to UK

NORTHERN IRISH MAN Eamonn Harrison, who is wanted in connection with the discovery of 39 bodies in a refrigerated container in Essex, can be extradited from Ireland to the UK, a judge in Dublin has ruled. British authorities are seeking the surrender of Eamon Harrison (22) from Mayobridge, Co Down, to face 39 counts of manslaughter, conspiracy to assist unlawful immigration and conspiracy to commit human trafficking under the UK’s Modern Slavery Act. The warrant seeking his extradition refers to Harrison as a British citizen.
