Motorcyclist, 37, killed in crash with truck and car near A38

A 37-year-old man from Plymouth was killed in a crash next to the A38 at Plympton yesterday afternoon, police have said this morning. In a statement released in the early hours, a force spokesperson said: "At 16:52 hours on Monday 6 January 2020, Police were notified of a three vehicle road traffic collision on an unclassified road between Deep Lane and Plympton Hill, Plymouth. "The collision involved a silver Triumph Street Triple RX motorcycle, a black Ford Focus Titanium and a white Scania breakdown truck.

"The motorcyclist, a 37 year old local male, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Foiled terror attack on British Army base "Officers from the Alliance's Roads Policing Team attended the scene. "A full investigation of the scene took place and officers are working to establish the cause of this collision.

"Police thank the public for their patience while they investigated the scene.

"Police are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at the time of the collision to telephone 101 quoting Log 535 of 6 January 2020."
