Police escort truck drivers delivering toilet rolls to supermarket during Coronavirus panic buying

Two police cars with their lights on drove ahead and behind the Allelys truck last night. Officers from the Roads Policing Unit said the toilet rolls were successfully delivered to the supermarket.

They said: “Here we have last night’s special assignment, thankfully we successfully delivered toilet rolls to a supermarket near you.” Many supermarkets are now putting limits on how many items people can buy at one time due to the huge demand.
